How Do I Connect to Eduroam Wi-Fi on an Android Device?
If you have already tried unsuccessfully to connect to Eduroam on your Android advice, then before following the instructions below you will need to select the Eduroam network from your Wi-Fi list and select forget. Then refresh your wireless networks list (or you can switch Wi-Fi on and off), and try connecting to Eduroam and enter the settings as below:
1. Tap the Settings icon
2. Tap Wireless and network
3. Tap Wi-Fi Settings
4. Tick the Wi-Fi checkbox
5. Select Eduroam when it appears in the Wi-Fi networks section.
6. IMPORTANT - In the EAP method menu select PEAP (some other universities have this set to TTLS, TLS or something else, which may cause issues when connecting to Eduroam at the University of Westminster)
7. Leave the Phase 2 authentication menu blank or whatever the default value is
8. Leave both CA certificate and User certificate as (unspecified)
9. Swipe upwards on the screen to scroll down the page
10.In the Identity field type your username like in the following example: w1234567@westminster.ac.uk
11. Leave the Anonymous identity field blank
12. In the Password field type your normal University password
13. Tap Connect
